E’ stato sottoscritto un protocollo d’intesa tra la Procura di Benevento e il Commissario straordinario per la realizzazione degli interventi necessari all’adeguamento alla normativa vigente delle discariche abusive presenti sul territorio nazionale è stato firmato dal Procuratore Aldo Policastro e dal Generale Giuseppe Vadalà. 51 i siti nazionali, 11 in Campania e 7 nella provincia di Benevento. I siti saranno a San Lupo, Castelvetere di Valfortore, Tocco Caudio, Puglianello, Pesco Sannita, Sant’Arcangelo Trimonte e Ponte Valentino a Benevento. Con questa intesa le parti si impegnano a collaborare e a reliazzare uno scambio di informazioni finalizzato ad effettuare la bonifica delle discariche in modo rapido e garantendo standard di legalità elevati per gli enti amministrativi. Da ora inizia una attività fondamentale per il Commissario Straordinario per la realizzazione degli interventi necessari all’adeguamento alla normativa vigente Vadalà.
Per ogni discarica contenente rifiuti non pericolosi regolarizzata in conformità agli standard UE sarà possibile sottrarre semestralmente 200mila euro, mentre per ognuna contenente rifiuti pericolosi la cifra semestrale sottratta sale a 400mila euro. Con la sottoscrizione del protocollo, le parti si impegnano a collaborare e a realizzare un consolidato scambio di informazioni finalizzato a effettuare la bonifica delle discariche in modo rapido e al contempo garantendo elevati standard di legalità per gli iter amministrativi.
